FRIENDLYCATS CATTERY is a small cattery located in Western Howard County, Maryland. The goal of the Cattery is to create healthy, happy, friendly, and affectionate kittens that conform to the standard for the breed.  To achieve that goal, the number of breedings per year is limited in order to be able to devote a generous amount of time to each kitten.  The adult cats are FELV/FIV tested and are up-to-date on their vaccinations. They are feed high quality wet and dry food.  There is a health guarantee that covers up to six months for congenital birth defects.  If a problem is reported, a replacement kitten will be provided when one is available.  For more information and details on the Health Guarantee, please read the FRIENDLYCATS Sales Contract. Running a cattery is an expensive hobby, but one that we thoroughly enjoy.  The price that is charged for kittens does not attempt to cover vet expenses, food, and cattery expenses.  Since so much time is devoted to each kitten, we want each kitten to go to a home where it will continue to be loved and receive the best care possible.  Kittens must be kept strickly as INDOOR CATS to prevent them from being harmed by cars, posions, dogs, and other domestic and wildlife animals.  Also kittens must NOT BE DECLAWED.  Declawing is very painful and may also affect a cat's personality. A waiting list will be kept for potential homes for our future litters.  If you place your name on the list, you will be notified when kittens are available.  A deposit will be required to reserve a specific kitten.  Kittens will be able to go to their new homes between the age of 16 weeks and 20 weeks with a copy of their health records.  Registration papers will be provided once we receive confirmation from a veterinarian that a kitten has been spayed or neutered.
